MODULE 10: How Do We Teach Philanthropy? (Part II)
Building a Civil Society: Core Academic Subjects and Instructional Strategies

Remember Module Two? We learned that the purpose of education in America was to create places of civic virtue for our children and for our society. I bet if you look at what you're already doing in the classroom you'll see an easy connection to philanthropy education.

Educators are commissioned to teach core subjects like economics, geography, history and government. By using instructional strategies that emphasize citizenship and philanthropy, educators can reach the goal of building a civil society.
