One Hour Class Period and One Half-Hour Class Period
The learner will:
Students will perform a production of their creation for other students and some persons in the community. The performance defines the difference between profit and nonprofit organizations in conjunction with an entertaining look at the workers of the state.
Anticipatory Set:
The audience will enter the performing area and the narrator will say, “Welcome, Ladies and Gentlemen.”
The essay should make at least four valid points about the advantages and disadvantages of working in the profit and nonprofit sectors. This whole unit is designed for student success. There is really no opportunity for failure if they try.
Parents and community members will be the audience.
Provide time at the end of the performance for the audience to ask questions of the performers.
