The learner will:
Anticipatory Set:
Hold up traffic light and ask if anyone knows what it is, elicit comments. Explain that we are going to learn a poem about the traffic light and that we will be using the traffic light to help us in the classroom.
Language Arts Activity:
Teacher will ask each student what their favorite part of the activity was and write it down for them in their journals. Students who wish to attempt to copy the words should be encouraged and complimented.
