Your Child's Growth in Understanding Philanthropy

Parents, who were also Family Foundation members of the Council of Michigan Foundations, asked Learning to Give to provide meaningful information, activities and resources so they could talk about, participate in, and reflect upon service and giving for the common good in their communities. Thoughtful actions and experiences combined with reflection provide the "teachable moments" that can lead to a permanent change in behavior and attitude.

Your Child's Growth in Understanding Philanthropy is organized by age group. You will find age-appropriate concepts to encourage conversations with your children plus activities and questions to stimulate reflection.
