Learning to Give does not publish a step-by-step semester-long course, but provides many activities, resources, and teacher-written lesson plans that develop vocabulary, discussion, exploration, and practice of serving and building community. Learning to Give's vision is that all young people have knowledge and experience to participate in their community as informed and caring citizens. Come back to Learning to Give again and again to find things to do and discuss with youth connected to their community and youth  empowerment.

You don't need to know a complicated strategy or have a project planned. We help you get started by introducing one lesson or activity. Or you might designate a day when everyone in the building or program teaches one lesson to build common vocabulary and tools for looking at community issues and needs - a simple start that leads to a culture of giving and empathy for the common good.
