Unit Overview 

Learners define philanthropy and describe the significant impact that philanthropists have made in American civil and political life. Learners recognize qualities in a local philanthropist.

Service Experience 
Share local stories of philanthropy in public forums, such as social media or the newspaper. Raise others' awareness of the impact of philanthropy and ways to get involved.
