Students will use a decision-making model to decide where to donate their collected money. They will evaluate what is most important to them and list possible choices. Based on the decision-making process, the class will come to consensus on how to spend money earned together.

Learners will reflect upon what it means to be excluded or disrespected in a community and will develop a school climate survey to identify individuals or groups in their school community who feel excluded or disrespected.
This final lesson of the unit will serve as an opportunity for each group to share their visual presentation with the class. Then students will compare and contrast the information. Finally, students will engage in thoughtful conversation as they listen to objective and subjective perspectives....
Unit: Take a Breath Now
The Bill of Rights consists of ten amendments to the Constitution. It spells out rights for all United States citizens. The language in the Bill of Rights is difficult for primary students, so this lesson introduces some simple rights and expectations of all Americans.
Students learn about climate change and greenhouse gas emissions. Students discuss the issue and motivations for giving for the common good. Through discussion and brainstorming, students establish things they can do personally and as a team to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
This lesson will emphasiz the important characteristcs under which a nonprofit organization operates. It will provide a hands-on opportunity for the formation of youth clubs, i.e., Reading Buddies within the walls of the school.
