Questions

1. What are the five steps of service-learning?

2. What is the difference between direct and indirect service?

3. How do service-learning and volunteering differ?

Follow-Up Activity

Begin to brainstorm in a group what issues your community is facing. Discuss which of the four types of service could serve that need. Choose one issue and plan a service project around providing the type of service discussed. You can even use one of the issue area toolkits found on the Learning to Give website to guide your service project.
