SEL is the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. For each SEL competency, we provide a Learning to Give definition that connects both community and generosity. From kindergarten to twelfth grade, young people will learn about and address needs while interacting with their community.
