Unit Overview

Learners identify business, governmental, nonprofit and/or individual efforts to keep our water supply clean and promote the common good. Learners will describe water as a scarce natural resource and, through art, they illustrate techniques for water conservation that everyone can use.

Service Experience
Learners will create a poster for Clean Water Safety which will be donated for use in the school or community to raise awareness of water issues and what individuals can do to help the cause.   Depending on the type of local project available, learners will participate in a clean water restoration project or water testing.
